Forms & Tools
All forms should be submitted via GW iRIS, the online system that allows users to initiate and track submissions to the Office of Human Research and the IRB.
Through the menu on the left, please find descriptions of forms that may be required over the course of a project, as well as resources and tools that could be helpful as you prepare your IRB submissions.
Electronic Submission and Tracking of Forms and Studies
The human subjects module of GW iRIS, the university’s new electronic research compliance system, has been launched. Beginning June 1, 2018, investigators can initiate and track the status of IRB applications via GW iRIS. The system automatically routes applications for approval and streamlines the review process. The Office of Human Research is no longer accepting paper forms or email submissions.
For information about logging into the system, training and support, please view the GW iRIS webpage.
