IRB Meeting Schedule
Each IRB has one meeting per month:
- The Gold IRB primarily reviews biomedical research and meets on the second Tuesday of every month.
- The Blue IRB primarily reviews social and behavioral research and meets the fourth Tuesday of every month.
Office of Human Research staff can provide additional information as to when a particular submission item (e.g., new study, continuing review, modification, or promptly reportable new information (PRIF)) will be scheduled for convened board review. The ability to schedule a review item to a board meeting depends upon the pre-review response time, the IRB's meeting agenda, and expertise that may be required for the review.
Please be advised that OHR staff will conduct a pre-review of all submissions prior to convened IRB review. This pre-review process may include requests for additional information and clarifications. Any delay in the pre-review process may cause the submission to be moved to a later IRB meeting.
